Hello Fellow Members from Santa Cruz, California. Thank You to all the helpful members who respond consistently!! You’re the best!! Awhile back, I watched Debbie create an inset/enclosed recessed zip. It was great but despite many hours scouring both you-tube and our HYC website, I came up empty. As usual, Debbie’s way is always the simplest and most straightforward, so would love to watch again. If anyone recalls this, your help is greatly appreciated!

I purchased membership through sewing street for £50 which has come out of my bank. I have put my code in but didn't put my card details in. I can't access the club, tells me I need to join which I have. Do I need to fill in the bank details, won't it charge me again, is this maybe why it keeps telling me to join, help
CJL replied: 20 Feb 26 at 18:37
Hiya If you can post in here you have access to the website! Can you check that you can see the projects? If you can then ignore the join screen for now - our developers are aware of it! Claire hysc

How do I keep the projects I want to get round to I don’t want to loose them when there tskennoff
Laura replied: 19 Feb 26 at 09:32
Projects are no longer taken down after two years so they are available as long as you are a member. You can mark projects as favourites on the project page. To find your favourites once marked you will find a NOTEBOOK heading on the list under the …More heading and then the Favourites can be selected on the Notebook page. Hope this helps

A few years ago I made the December 19 bum-bag for a friend by following the video. I need to make one for myself . I have the pattern and the vimeo code to find the video but it can no longer be found there. Is there a new code I can use as we go away on 28th February and am useless at following written patterns without the video backup.
Laura replied: 18 Feb 26 at 21:47
The bum bag has not yet been brought back to the site since the decision to bring back all projects was made. As it is not a live project the video is probably not available as a past project. You could contact admin at info@halfyardsewingclub.com and explain the issue but not sure they will load the project and video in time for your requirement ..worth asking though.

Hi I have just changed my subscription to yearly, I went Via the email i received and typed in the 50EXTRA code, it has changed to yearly on my account however I dont know if the code has worked, I know someone from the team see these messages, help please x
barb replied: 17 Feb 26 at 21:12
See message below You need to email info@halfyardsewingclub.com to resolve this. Hi all! If you are planning on buying the add-on time (for annual and monthly members) please use the code that we sent you here https://halfyardsewingclub.com/purchase-extra - the link in the email. if you go to change membership type and are a monthly member you will be charged the difference to upgrade from monthly to annual (at around £75) and you won't receive the offer price. If you have accidentally done this please contact us and we will refund the difference. Thanks! Claire, HYSC

Can anyone tell me how to redeem the code so I can pay for the £50 yearly subscription please and can I buy 2 even if I am already a member
Laura replied: 17 Feb 26 at 21:02
The offer for adding 365 days for £50 through the club is only available once per account. If you want to do that use the link you received by email and then enter the code you were given and complete the payment details. Once the payment has been processed your renewal date will reflect the extra 365 days you have paid for. You have until 13th March to complete this action. There is a separate offer on Sewing Street for today only where existing members and new members can purchase a years subscription for £50 and you can buy multiple of these..you will receive a code from HYSC for each year you purchase and these can be added as each subscription comes to an end. This annual subscription offer on Sewing Street ends tonight at midnight and Sewing Street said they will not be offering this price again. Have a watch of Debbie’s show on SewingStreet today if you want to check the details. Hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me what size to print Chumley patterns to get mi ature ones please? Is it 50%?
Laura replied: 17 Feb 26 at 21:33
Debbie said on Sewing Street today that the small Chumleys were half the size of the standard ones so I guess that would mean that the print is at 50%. Perhaps just print the body and see what you think.

Can anyone advise me how to make the batwing top a bit wider at the waistline and a bit longer? I have a tummy and need to allow for this! I mean the batwing top that Debbie makes on You Tube.
Rachel replied: 18 Feb 26 at 02:23
Thank you so much. I understand now how to increase the width and length. That is exactly what I am looking for.
