I have a cardboard box that I want to cover with fabric. In Debbie's Magazine Box in Half Yard Home, she uses separate cardboard pieces for her box. I wonder if I can apply the same measurements and techniques without cutting my box to pieces? If that makes sense. Thank you!

Also, I would love some advise on how to cover the lid in fabric, or how to make a different lid of some sort. I plan to use the box as a store for my fabrics, but if I don't put a lid on it, then my cat will make it her new bed for sure and put hair on all of my stuff. ..

I bought the Japanese knot bag kit and have made several of them, my son would like one but needs the opening to be wide enough to admit A4 books, can I scale up the pattern or widen the gap between the handles? Thank you

What is the Jojoba oil for? Why do you need it for the food wraps ? I am bit worried getting the wrong oil is that possible Knowing me

Without the oil the wax dries quite hard and can crack, imagine wax from a candle when it sets it can be quite brittle...

How do you make the lining in your bags not look baggy . Should l be cutting them slightly smaller and if so how do they match at the top where you join to outer fabric

Try making the seam allowance very slightly wider than the outer bag, and taper to the top where the lining meets the outer fabric, or try putting a few hand stitches through the bottom corners to hold the lining in place...

Hello everyone. Does anyone know of a good oven glove tutorial? I have bought the thermal bosal to go with it too. Debbie kindly sent me 2 packs when I only ordered 1 so thanks Debbie. I think 40" is a good length for a cross body bag, but yto slinging your tape measure over your shoulder to see whats rtight for you!

Does anyone know of a neater way of finishing top stitching other than back-tacking? My machine doesn't have reinforcement stitching on a straight stitch. Back-tacking is particularly untidy on top stitching around the opening of a bag where the lining, and therefore the yarn used, is a different colour to the main fabric. Thank you.
