This easy-to-make handy cosmetic bag comes in a choice of two sizes – but if you'd love to make both, simply double the fabric amounts. The quilting gives the bag a touch of luxury too.

You will need:
Equipment
- Sewing machine
- Erasable marker pen
- Repositionable spray fabric adhesive
- Rectangular quilting ruler with a 30-degree marking
Materials
- 22 x 10in (56 x 25.5cm) piece of outer fabric: mine is blue
- 22 x 10in (56 x 25.5cm) piece of lining fabric: I have used a yellow fabric
- 22 x 10in (56 x 25.5cm) piece of wadding/batting
- 11in (28cm) zip
- 12in (30.5cm) length of ribbon
