Making a square bag base

Sometimes known as a box base, this technique creates a neat, professional-looking bag base.

You will complete this stage once you've sewn the base and side seams of your bag, with the fabric the wrong side out. If you are making a bag with a lining, make the base of the lining square in the same way.
