Hi. I’m making Block 4 of this years block of the month and I don’t understand section 3 Flying geese. To me it looks like a total of 16 half square triangles have been used in the finished project ,but in section 2 we’re only making 8 hst’s. Can anyone explain the creasing of the diagonals please, and are we using the hst’s. Thanks
barb replied: 30 Apr 26 at 07:11
1. One 4½in (11.5cm) square in Fab B, sub cut on both diagonals into four for the Flying Geese ………. 2. Four 3in (7.5cm) squares in B/G, each cut into two diagonally for the Flying Geese …………..3. Two 3¾in (9.5cm) squares in B/G for the half square triangle units …………4. Two 3¾in (9.5cm) squares in Fab B for the half square triangle units …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… This is part of the materials list. Items 3 and 4 on the list are used in the first 2 steps to make 8 h s t. Put those to one side. Now use items 1 and 2 on the list Item one is 4 triangles of fab b. Item 2 is 8 triangles of fab b/g . Crease these triangles on the diagonals just to find the centre so they can be lined up correctly when assembled as in steps 3 and 4. So after steps 1 to 4 you have 8 h s t and 4 flying geese units .

Hi, is there a way of accessing all my favourites? I’ve clicked the heart icon on the projects I like but can’t seem to find a way of seeing them all together. Thanks Jude24
