Help! I'm trying to make the May 2019 weekend bag but do not find any pattern pieces other than the one for the ends. Where do I find pattern pieces for the rest of the bag?

Thank you so very much!!! Got it.

Help please. I have a very stretchy fabric I am using and can't seem to find anything that I am able to use to mark my fabric. Every time I try to mark it the fabric moves under the pen and am now at a loss as to what to use. I have tried air erasable, heat erasable pens and also a tailors pencil type thing. I am now stumped

I?ll attach a photo showing a dressmaking technique: hand-baste through pattern symbols (the dots) and lines of construction. Can also apply this technique on a single piece of fabric. Otherwise, suggest looking at online dressmaking tutorials for stretch fabric.

Hi, I'm struggling with the overnight bag. I have printed off the bag ends on A4 paper, is it the correct size or do I need to add an inch. I'm confused. Thank you
Emma replied: 24 Jul 22 at 17:49
Thank you. It's not the seam allowance, it's the actual size of the ends of the bag that are oval at the top. I'm sure I will figure it out when I start to sew the bag together.

Doesn?t look like they are squished enough as mine do not have the centres protruding as much as yours. I will post a picture on a new question above.

I've fallen in love with foundation paper piecing with this year's BOTM. If anyone knows any patterns or maybe books with patterns, please let me know! I've checked the previous BOTM and I've done a quick google search but I want more :) Thanks!

Sherry - Thanks for the suggestion, I'm afraid I don't have Facebook though so I'll keep looking =) Joan, I'll look that up, thank you!

In February this year I asked this question "I wanted to look at members? block of the month photos but see that some which were submitted earlier (mine included) are no longer there. Am I right in thinking each project only has the capacity to show 9 photos so as new photos are submitted, earlier ones are deleted? If so, I think that?s a shame as it?s good to see a lot of different interpretations of the projects." HYSC replied "we will look into this with our developers" I see that for each project we can still only see 9 photos - has any progress been made on this please? Thanks
Denise replied: 23 Jul 22 at 12:50
Maybe a section on the Facebook page of HYSC could be a place for all to leave photos as they would not need to be taken down???

I'm so impatient to get my first order. How long do they normally take to fill and post?
Alison replied: 21 Jul 22 at 09:57
Well I ordered on the 16th and the 19th so maybe over the weekend. Fingers crossed.

Anyone made the Feb 2019 satchel? Looking for ideas on fabrics and combinations to try out. I love the ones that Debbie has shown but would like a few more for inspiration. Thanks.
Laura replied: 21 Jul 22 at 22:11
I think it would look lovely in the Crochet like fabric https://www.debbieshoresewing.com/shop/brands/camelot-fabrics/not-your-grannys-squares-collection-afghan-tiles-cool/
