Hi all, I'm having trouble understanding the written instructions for the BotM, "Welcome to my Block of the Month" background fabric cutting, (Sorry not done this before). It says "Cut your first piece to measure 13in (30.5cm) deep across the width of the fabric, then sub-cut into:" Am I cutting the x 2 13" squares and the 9x13 inch square pieces across the width of the fabric selvedge to selvedge or down the side of the selvedge? I bought the kit and I'm worrying I'll run out if I do it the wrong way. TIA for any help. Susan

Is the iron caddy from sew useful too big for the prym iron because even that mini iron looks larger?
Megan replied: 3 Jan 22 at 09:26
Ok thanks it looks larger than the prym so I will try it with scrap first thanks

Shirl replied: 3 Jan 22 at 09:51
Forgot to say loved the box to house the fat quarters in going to make two so i can house the quilting project as its 8 fat quarters it will fit in nice. The other one will hold the pattern and all you other bits for the project xx

Hello, I own a Juki HZL F600 and I'm having trouble free motioning as the thread gets wrapped around the bobbin case everytime I move the fabric away from me, try to sew circles, etc. I'm afraid to mess up the machine's timing... Does anyone own the same machine and/or has any advice?
Carina replied: 6 Jan 22 at 01:09
Hi Anne, I've tried e-mailing Juki here in Japan, but they mostly guided me to the YouTube tutorial videos, which haven't been very helpful to start with... I guess it's user error. I wish there was some workshop where I could go and have someone there with me, haha.
