I just used a universal one.. perhaps try adjusting the tension and also cleaning the sewing machine.

Thanks I have read so many different articles about them affecting machines electronics because of the magnet but need a way of getting a good straight seam. I don't know if there are any other methods people use to do this so I can explore all options.
