I've just downloaded the QR codes for the slipper socks, drawstring bag and eye mask. The first two work fine but the code for the eye mask is not working, when I go to it, it says "sorry, we couldn't find that page" is anyone else having a problem?

Hi, If I was to use faux leather as a flap on a bag, would I need to use any interfacing? I am using H640 for the actual bag. Thank you
Alanna replied: 30 Jun 21 at 09:37
Hi Wendy! Yes I would use interfacing on the flap.

Hi Jenny, thank you for your reply earlier. I haven?t sewn with a slippery fabric before and wanted to know if anyone has tips for that. I thought I would do a french seam. I wondered if my walking foot would be best. Do you have any ideas? Thanks again, Rosemarie
Debbie replied: 4 Jul 21 at 16:01
I'd use a walking foot, and a small stitch. Silk thread works well, with a fine needle. Hipe that helps!

I am relatively new and I am making the evening bag style from Debbie?s half yard summer book. Regarding handles as my bag is less formal can I use the template from the build a bag book and if so what would be the layout of the fabric be with the template to get the length? Hope someone can help. Thank you.
Jenny replied: 28 Jun 21 at 10:13
I would say yes definitely. I've used various templates from Debbie's Build a Bag books for other projects and they all work well ????????

How does Debbie sign her books if I order on search press?
HYSC replied: 28 Jun 21 at 17:08
Hi Jean Before Covid Debbie used to be able to come to the offices quite frequently to sign books and she signs books when they launch on Sewing Street. We do have a few signed copies of Dressmaking secrets at Search Press and some book plates we can put in the books. If you want signed copies you should order from Debbie's own website or Sewing street when they launch a book.
