I would like to make the toy storage box but on a smaller scale and also put dividers in but don't know how to do the dividers. Can anyone help me with this please.

This would be great as I would like to make an open top storage cube with 3 sections for a Christmas present for my daughter. I am going to fill it with re-useable make up remover pads etc which I plan on making too.

Hi everyone. I seem to have accumulated a lot of dressmaking patterns over the past few years (free gift with magazine) Obviously I want to keep some of them, with a view to one day making them, however there are those which I will never use. I don't want to throw them away, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a charity or something who could make use of them. Many thanks and stay safe

I don't know of a charity I'm afraid, would you local charity shop accept them? Or anyone here know of anyone who could use them?

Robyn?s hair - how much wool did you all use for his hair? I think I might have done it too thick, it took forever and I used every scrap of a 50g ball. He looks good though. Now to the fun bit of making his clothes!

Thanks Debbie and Meghan. It does look good even though it took a long time!

I have made Debbies large tie tote bag. It was easy to follow along and came out really lovely but I am thinking I did the measurement wrong way around. Is it 16"wide 14 "long as I did it the other way round and once I realized I just moved the tabs a bit . Debbies looks longer to me could it have been 16"across and 18"long?
BW replied: 15 Nov 21 at 11:47
When measurements are written down its goes with the width first and then the length, or as I like to remember it along the corridor and up the stairs. The bag Debbie made was 14 wide and 16 long.

Hi have bought the Satchel bag pattern which looks very similar to the shelley bag. Could I make the satchell smaller? have only followed patterns for my bags so far and love all Debbies vidios Jean
Debbie replied: 12 Nov 21 at 08:26
You could, reduce all the measurements by the same amoun, and maybe make up one in scrap first...

Hi ladies, I wonder if you can help a novice at appliqu?. I am confused about the fusible webbing used for the Christmas trees. I purchased some adhesive backed and ironed it on to my fabric and cut out the trees. However when I positioned them on my project the sticky backing did not come off and it pulled the fabric out of shape and frayed the trees. What fusible webbing should I have used please?
Sandra replied: 12 Nov 21 at 08:59
By the way yes it was for the appliqu? project for the Christmas table runner.
